All BSW-certified stringers must complete the BSW certification renewal process every year. Recertification includes assessments on:
1.1 Latest racquet sport technologies
1.2 Advanced stringing techniques
1.3 Customer service skills
1.4 Ethical business practices
Failure to complete recertification will result in the suspension of BSW certification status.
2. Player Protection Measures
BSW takes the integrity of our certification seriously. We have established strict protocols to protect players who use BSW-certified stringers:
2.1 Reporting Misconduct
Players and site visitors can report concerns about customer service, stringing quality, representation of products, or compliance with BSW requirements.
Players who experience issues with BSW-certified stringers can file a confidential complaint through our secure online portal. Reportable issues include:
1. Poor customer service or unprofessional behavior
2. Substandard stringing quality
3. Dishonest practices (e.g., misrepresentation of strings, false information)
4. Use of prohibited techniques (e.g., pre-weaving, not emptying frame)
2.2 Investigation Process
Upon receiving a complaint:
1. An investigation report will be compiled.
2. BSW will initiate a confidential investigation.
3. Our team will conduct an unannounced audit of the stringer or facility.
4. A thorough review of the stringer’s practices will be performed.
2.3 Disciplinary Actions
If violations are confirmed, BSW may take the following actions:
1. Remove the certification record from the public directory
2. Issue a warning
3. Require additional training
4. Temporarily suspend certification
5. Permanently revoke certification
All disciplinary actions will be recorded in the BSW public database.
