What are BSW’s strategic outcomes?
BSW will deliver globally trusted certification system and develop new assessment programmes to meet both international and industry needs. BSW will strive to enhance competency of stringers through capability building, and drive recognition and demand for BSW certified services. In addition to establishing recognition arrangements, BSW will proactively facilitate relationships to ease acceptance of certified stringers in targeted markets.
How does BSW ensure impartiality?
BSW is committed to safeguarding and assuring the impartiality of its certification activities at strategic and operational levels. BSW will not allow commercial, financial and other pressures to compromise impartiality. BSW ensures its committees operate with balanced views and representations from key stakeholders and interested parties, including equipment manufacturers, professional players, sports scientists, and data analysts, without permitting any one interest to predominate or receive favour.
How is BSW financed?
BSW is a not-for-profit establishment. BSW’s main source of revenue is from fees collected from certification applicants as well as its assessment activities. Any surplus is reinvested into improving our certification processes and advancing the field of racquet stringing. BSW is committed to maintaining financial transparency.
